Productivity & Project Management

What the Breeze connector can do

Breeze is a kanban-style project management tool for planning and tracking work across stages. A Breeze connection in type.com lets the agent start a new project, add a card with a due date and assignee, or create a list to represent a new stage, so project setup and task tracking happen in the same thread where the team already discusses progress.

One connection, many Spaces

Connect Breeze once, then decide which Spaces can use it in threads, skills, automations, and coding work.

What teams do with Breeze in type.com

Kick off a new project

Ask the agent to create a project so the team has a dedicated space to track a new initiative from day one.

Try asking
Create a new Breeze project called Website Redesign and set me as the owner.

Add a task with an owner and due date

Have the agent create a card in the right project so new work items are tracked instead of mentioned only in chat.

Try asking
Create a Breeze card in the Website Redesign project for drafting the new homepage copy, due next Friday.

Invite a teammate to a project

Get the agent to add people to a project by email so they can see and update the board.

FAQ

Questions people ask before connecting Breeze

Can Claude manage Breeze projects from type.com?

Yes. Once a Breeze connection is shared with a Space, the agent can create projects, cards, and stages, and invite teammates in any thread, visible to the whole team.

How does type.com authenticate with Breeze?

Breeze uses an API key tied to your account. An admin adds it once when creating the connection and chooses which Spaces can use it.

Can project setup tasks run automatically?

Yes. A Breeze prompt can become a type.com automation, such as creating a standard set of stages for every new project, posted to a channel for review.

Is this the same as a Breeze MCP server?

Not exactly. type.com uses connectors and connections to give selected Spaces access to approved app tools and data. Some connectors use hosted MCP, while others use OAuth, API keys, service accounts, or custom APIs.
